The State of Connecticut held a administrative procedural hearing this week. Last I checked our legislature was not in session. During the dog day’s of summer Governor Lamont via executive order, phased out the production of gas powered cars, vans, and trucks, beginning in 2027. You can still buy and sell a gas car say advocates for the mandate. However, anyone living in Connecticut long enough knows this is hogwash. It’s about to get a whole lot harder to drive a gas car for the average citizen. Goods are going to become even more expensive due to this mandate. People across the state will feel the hardship of NetZero crushing their lives. The governor does not care.
Lamont’s breakneck race into “green” energy may be green for the Connecticut Green Bank, and venture capital firms like General Atlantic, Connecticut Innovations, and Annie Lamont’s Oak HC/FT. Its a club the people are not in. Venture bucks are flying from private investors, who ultimately control innovation, and drive policies in their favor. These unelected entities are very influential in Governor Lamont’s executive orders. They benefit the most. The venture money funds the technology making this green revolution possible. Protected by the shadows of private money hidden in the Cayman Islands, and PO boxes to venture firms registered in Delaware to avoid tax. This is big bucks and it’s a game of hide the money and skirt the taxes. What a mockery of our Constitutional Republic! The Constitution State has fallen into the deep waters of corruption. Nothing spells this more than rulership via executive fiat.

Governor Lamont’s EV Mandate. In the rush to “green” will the people be left in the dust?

Such corruption. Also we don't rule by fiat! Insane. Nobody can afford this. Not to mention the fire dangers of these vehicles.
It’s very disturbing!!
