A warrior is not born, they are made. On the battlefront of informed consent and the right to refuse public health mandates like vaccines, and most recently masks mandates, the stakes are high. A healthy body is a body that can move mountains, a sick body is weak and dependent on a system to survive. The government via it’s public health bureaucracy is in bed with big phama. Here’s how it works, industry shapes the laws via public, private, partnerships, Non Governmental Organizations known as NGOS, who fund the lobbyist and provide grants and funds to make policy into a law. The Public Health Department via our taxes dollars runs a media campaign to sell it to the public, “Vaccines Saves Lives”, “Community Immunity”, Help Protect Against Flu, Get A Flu Shot”, “Vaccines Are Safe and Effective”, these are slogans, campaigns that are designed to sell vaccines and lull the public into accepting vaccine mandates. The irony is the government mandates vaccines, then uses government funds to purchase vaccines, the people, especially children, have become a captured audience.
The power and money behind tyrannical public health laws is a real time David and Goliath story. Mothers and children are the warriors in a battle against industry. Vaccinology has become a religion of the pharmaceutical industrial complex. On the forefront of this battleground are mothers and children. This is where I met Lois. We were in Hartford for HB5044, a bill to remove the religious exemption to vaccination for school children and university students in February of 2020. There were so many mini battles wrought with egos, infighting, and power plays, among groups that formed to battle the goverrnment, that then turned on eachother! Aside from dealing with the government, this nonsense ensued. It’s enough to drive one crazy! I see this all the time too, not just in the medical freedom movement. Stupid stuff like kicking people out of working groups, back stabbing, undermining, all the stuff that can happen when people form groups. It’s a wonder humanity ever get’s anything done. Just when I was ready to throw in the towel, someone like Lois walked in.
I was tired of all the group nonsense and helped a wealthy friend fly some seriously great speakers from around the country to testify against HB5044. One of those speakers was more local in our neighboring state of Massachusetts, Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai. Anyone in the medical freedom movement knows Shiva is a wild card, he is very controversial, and he is also a great scientist with knowledge of vaccinology and human health. Shiva is well spoken and knows his stuff, with all the controversy the other freedom groups did not want him to testify. So they did everything they could to try and block him from testifying. People can be really disappointing and become the very thing they fight against.
I knew Shiva was controversial, I also knew he could offer great testimony. Censorship never is a good thing no matter what side you’re on or who the person is that is speaking. On top of group infighting there are hostile legislators that treat the their constituents like garbage if they do not agree with the one party rule agenda. Senators txting, talking, and drawing on cups, while citizens shared very personal stories of vaccine injury.
I was on task to find a willing person to give up their spot to testify to Dr. Shiva. Testifying at a hearing is a big deal, especially for mothers of injured children. It is their time to speak and tell their story of vaccine injury. Nobody wants to give up the opportunity to be heard, especially if they made the day time lottery to testify. Add that to group drama and no one was budging. Dr. Shiva needed to get back home, and only had a window of opportunity to testify. He was getting antsy as I struggled to find a volunteer. Lois came up to me, introduced herself and had a very honest conversation with me about Dr. Shiva. She explained the hesitance in giving up her spot to testify, but her son encouraged her. Both Lois and her son didn’t like Shiva’s political stance in general, however, they recognized the importance of Shiva’s testimony as a respected and accomplished scientist and left his political rhetoric at the door. Lois and her son were a light at a crazy time in Hartford where everyone was fighting! This testimony is part of the history of the medical freedom battle, now a part of the public record for all who want to hear it.
We lost the religious exemption, but we gained each other and found a strength within ourselves to go on and resist all the COVID mandates. As the years rolled on Lois remained as active as she could be with ALS. She was a soft spoken generous person who loved her children. They were and always will be her world. Thank you Lois, for being you and fighting alongside so many other mothers of injured children. May our voices never become quiet. May our stories never be forgotten.
Rest In Peace Lois M Hines
